The SLICE documentary shows the Oromo Way of Life.

Highlighting family interactions among Oromo Borana. Borana is the eldest of two brothers, Borana-Barentu, and known to be the origins of Oromo people. 
The documentary captures interaction between a Father , Mother, Daughter and Son. Interactions including teaching moments from the mother and father to their children. Oromo mother blesses the Son and Father in advance of a Salt Mining journey.

Oromo salt mines are run by Oromo Borana. The mining is a means of commerce for Oromo Borana. 

The documentary also shows Oromo Warriors who are in service to protect Borana land and livelihood.
